Fall 2015 we set-up a 420 gallon rainwater harvest system for a client in Talent, OR. The project also included upgrading several rain barrels and setting up a first flush diverter on a 1500 gallon tank.

The rain water from these rainwater harvest tanks is used for an organic vegetable garden and to provide water for ducks and chickens. This is part of an ecologically designed homestead in Talent on just a half an acre. The tanks filled up within a few weeks in November and the overflow goes into the garden area to charge up the soil.
