Large water storage bladders help during 2021 drought

50,000 gallon flexible water tank filled up

2021 was our busiest year ever due to the unprecedented drought and record days over 100 degrees. The irrigation water from TID and MID was shut off in July due to lack of water. Many of our customers who farm in the Rogue Valley needed short term solutions to get through the summer. One option is the Flexible water tank or water bladder. These tanks need a large area since they are 30 x60′ in area, however they are the cheapest per gallon water storage available.

2021 Drought is becoming “New Normal” Rainwater Harvesting can help

A 28,000 thousand gallon rainwater harvest system for a customer in Sam’s Valley, OR

In Southern Oregon, Rogue Water Solutions is providing rainwater harvesting designs and installations for customers with a wide variety of water issues. We’re seeing many wells going dry and slowing down due to lack of rainfall and over taxing of the aquafers. It takes a lot of water to keep gardens and animals hydrated over a long hot summer so I recommend getting the largest tank your project budget will allow. In most cases there will be more rainwater than your capacity to store it. Call us to schedule a consultation. 541-488-0248
